Best of Italy Tour - Monza to Cannes 2023
Itinerary
Our registration point will be open from 10:00am. Lunch (between 12.00 to 14.00) and welcome dinner (19:30) are included. It’s definitely worth joining us earlier. Park your car, register and enjoy free tickets to visit the neoclassical palace Villa Reale donated by Vittorio Emanuele in 1868 with one of the largest enclosed parks in Europe.
Day 1 / Monza & Milano
The tour will start on Thursday (27th April 2023) in Monza with accommodation in s small luxury hotel de la Ville Monza – enjoy a unique and enviable position: opposite the Monza Villa Reale and its wonderful park, a few steps from the historical center of one the most important cities of Lombardy and several minutes walk from Autodromo Nazionale Monza.
10:00 – 16:00 – Registration, passes, and tour stickers.
10:00 – 12:00 – Visit to the Villa Reale
12:00 – 14:00 – Lunch at the hotel
16:00 – (Drive 30 min) Visit to Scuderia Romeo Ferraris, tuning and auto racing team in Milano in Opera district. Discover Racing team Alfa Romeo.
18:00 – Returning for dinner at 19:30 in Cascina Frutteto In Pacro Monza near Autodromo Nazionale Monza. (Walking distance from the hotel)
If you arrive in the afternoon, you can join us directly for a welcome dinner (15 min walk from the hotel).
For guests arriving by Air, we suggest Milan Linate, Milan Bergamo or Milan Malpensa with a convenient taxi connection to the hotel.
If you wish to extend your holidays and arrive a night earlier, please book an additional night directly with the hotel.
Day 2 Friday / Monza – Turin
7:00 – 9:00 am – Breakfast & check out.
9:30am – We drive to Arese Milano to visit Museo Alfa Romeo (25 min). Official museum, displaying a permanent collection of Alfa Romeo cars and engines and a fabulous F1 collection. With a refined arrangement that reflects Alfa Romeo’s distinctive DNA.
13:00 – Lunch in Eataly Torino
15:00 – Check in in the AC Hotel Torino Marriott (no more drive for a day)
15:30 – Visit to Museo Dell’Automobile Nationale Di Torino, founded by Carlo Biscaretti, with a collection of almost 200 cars among eighty automobile brands representing eight countries. Enjoy a temporary exhibition “The Golden Age of Rally” a journey through the history of this sport, through the iconic specimens of Fondazione Gino Macaluso, there will be iconic examples, such as Lancia rally 037 evo2 and Audi Quattro. The collection is among the most important in the world and unique in its kind for the Palmares of cars, the prestige and originality of its models.
19:00 – Aperitivo and dinner at the Hotel
Day 3 Saturday / Turin – Gap (via Mont Cenis & Grenoble)
7:00 -8:30 am – Breakfast and check out
9:00am -We continue driving along the scenic roads through Mont Cenis pass, with stops to enjoy the view.
Driving through Alps and old railway tunnel. Arriving in Grenoble for lunch
13:00 – lunch
Ride up the mountain using The Bastille Cable Car (Les bulles) to Bastille, a former fortress overlooking the city and a magnificent view of the Alps.
17:00 – Drive to Hotel Les Olivades Gap
20:00 – Aperitivo and dinner at the Hotel
Day 4 Sunday / Gap – Cannes (via Route Napoleon)
7:30 – 8:30 am – Breakfast and Check out
9:00 am – The last day of driving. From Gap to La Côte d’Azur (French Riviera).
One of the longest but at the same time most beautiful drives. With a few short breaks for a group photo and mountain views.
We then continue exploring Route Napoleon, one of the best driving roads in the south of France. Located in the mountains, it is EVO magazine’s most popular spot for testing supercars since the 1990s. It’s a dream driving road for all supercars owners. Arriving in Cannes, The Promenade de la Croisette.
15:00 – Final drive to the Hotel du Cap Eden-Roc for Lunch.
